Kingdom Creations
~A Prophetic Jewelry Collection~

www.kingdomcreations.biz

One of the stops Saturday night was to see Kingdom Creations by Catherine King, assisted by Casey Weaver. The collection was largely jewelry, but also included some wall art pieces in the form of tiles with glass and wire work. So much to look at, much to admire, and treasures for everyone. Catherine King is pictured here.

Here is a nice sampling of Catherine's necklaces, pendants, and earrings.

If you look closely, the wall is decorated with tile art - each with their own theme.

Masterpiece tiara created by Casey Weaver. There are over 100 real pearls used in this delicate beauty.

The Studio Experience
www.thestudioexperience.com

Artist Michelle S. Young is featured at The Studio Experience in Redding. Her colorful paintings are a feast for the eyes. Forals are her specialty and come in many canvas sizes, ranging from the size of a coaster on up to 16x20's. Michelle's work is also found in Weaverville and her paintings have garnered her several awards.

Shirley Barone's paintings have graced our local studios as well as in Sacramento, including a showing that sold out. Shirley's work has awarded her quite a few accolades, placing first several times. This painting has now become a family favorite, The Matrix. We may need to grab this guy up!

Seen here are paintings by all 3 artists currently featured at The Studio Experience; Mickey Theobold, Shirley Barone, and Michelle S. Young. Mickey is masterful at landscape pieces. Her work has been published in books, articles, and magazines. She too is a recognized artist having receiving several awards, including first place. Feel free to explore more of their work at the web site listed above.

Shirley Valentine, written by Willy Russell & Directed by Russell Piette

What a treat it was to see actor Susan Daugherty this Saturday night. Us "hoppers" were treated to a scene from the show Shirley Valentine. She is delightful and charming. This show can be seen on April 23rd and 24th at the Riverfront Playhouse, tickets are available at Vintner's Cellar for $15 (festival seating). ~Great to meet you Susan!

This gallery features artist Tegwin Matenaer who woks with pastels. Each piece holds a special place in her heart. I had the honor of speaking with Tegwin and hearing stories that inspired her work. Her web site is beautifully arranged...please visit to view her other pieces.

This is an extra special piece of Tegwin's work, Igo Green In Ono. It is extra special because she has donated it to the Renaissance Redding Tea taking placed on May 15th. The proceeds from the tea go to the Endowment Fund for the Arts. There will be a silent auction held for this work of art. I encourage you to attend the Renaissance Redding Tea to contribute to this fabulous event.

More pieces from Tegwin Matenaer. ~It was very nice to meet you Tegwin. Your work came to life as you obliged me with your stories. Thank you!
